2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Earns its Redline Stripes

If you liked the looks of last year's Challenger Rally Redline, but not it's 305hp 3.6-liter V6, Dodge is now offering a V8-powered version of the series, which it will debut at next week's Chicago Auto Show.

Under the hood of the new 2013 Challenger R/T Redline you will find Dodge's familiar 5.7-liter HEMI V8 delivering up to 375 horsepower and 410 lb-ft torque through a six-speed manual transmission, or an optional paddle-shifting and driver adaptable automatic transmission.

If you answered 'Dart' to the question we posed in regards to a teaser picture of a new Mopar 13' model released by Chrysler earlier this week, then you may look at the mirror and give yourself a big thumbs-up.

The limited edition Mopar '13 Dart is the fourth model in the Mopar special series since the company partnered with Fiat in 2009 and follows the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 Chrysler 300. It will make its first public appearance at next week's Chicago Auto Show and go on sale this spring in a limited run of 500 units.

Os outros modelos como Dodge Durango (Preço inicial de R$189.900), Chrysler 300C (Preço inicial de R$169.900) e a Town & Country (A partir de R$164.900), Jeep Compass (R$89.900), Grand Cherokee (R$159.900) e Wrangler (R$139.900) não tiveram preços alterados! The Chrysler Group will be heading to next month's Chicago Auto Show with a new world premiere named the Mopar '13 Limited Edition.

“This vehicle is the perfect canvas for personalization and customization,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar. “We couldn’t wait to get our hands on it and give it the Mopar treatment.”

What began as an option package for the 2012 Challenger before it was made more available to the 2013 Avenger, Charger R/T and Challenger R/T models, is now being expanded to the rest of Dodge's range sans the Dart sedan.

We’re talking about Dodge's Blacktop Package treatment that is now offered on the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan, Durango seven-seat SUV and Journey mid-size crossover, all of which will be on display at the Detroit Auto Show next week.

A Dodge está lançando no Brasil o Durando, modelo que vem para acompanhar o Journey e que foi uma das estrelas do estande da Chrysler no último Salão do Automóvel! O modelo chega para ser rival de Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLK, além das versões mais caras de Chevrolet TrailBlazer, Volvo XC60, Land Rover Evoque, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota Hilux SW4, Mitsubishi Pajero Dakar e do Novo Hyundai SantaFé, que chega em breve!

O Durango vem com 7 lugares, sendo que o último banco pode ser rebatido, assim como o banco do meio, dando mais espaço para o porta-malas! O Durando vem com duas opções de acabamento, importado dos Estados Unidos, a Crew e a Citadel, a mais top. O modelo chega com propulsor 3.6 V6 Pentastar de 286CV, associado à um câmbio automático de cinco velocidades e tração 4x4! Falando em equipamentos, o Durando vem recheado (Veja mais abaixo!).

Crew: Vem com airbags frontais, laterais e de cortina, controle anticapotamento, interior revestido em couro, sistema de entretenimento com tela de 6,5 polegadas e 30GB de armazenamento e rodas de liga-leve de 18 polegadas.

Citadel: Já na versão Citadel, o Dodge Durango vem equipado com rodas de 20 polegadas, volante com regulagens elétricas, teto solar elétrico, faróis de xenônio, grade dianteira com acabamento cromado e sistema de entretenimento com tela de 10 polegadas para os ocupantes do banco traseiro.

A Dodge pensa em vender cerca de 500 unidades do Durando por mês, (Cerca de 42 unidades mensais) o Durango é uma aposta do Grupo Chrysler, que quer chegar a 50 concessionárias até o final de ano, sendo que hoje são 43 concessionárias! Só no ano de 2012, o Grupo Chrysler cresceu 60% em relação à 2011, graças a chegada da Ram, Compass e 300C. Veja os preços do modelo abaixo!

As its name states, the highlight of Orlando-based Ultimate Auto's version of the Challenger SRT-8 is its wide aero package featuring composite body panels that make space for ginormous 24-inch alloy wheels in a custom matte charcoal finish from Savini, which on the rear axle, are wrapped in equally massive Pirelli 405/25-24 tires.
